With Larry being a sophomore and being a head starter for his first year there would be confrontation with him transferring with a hard season with the Tar Heels. Larry Drew commented that when he was in New York reporters asked him if he was going to transfer back. He commented saying "I will always be a Tar Heel". Larry thought that with answering family, and coaches wishes that the asking would end, but it didn't.

Larry started 36 games with being a point guard and tied for second in the ACC in assist at 6.0 per game. Larry has been struggling while playing when he returned to see if he can play with his teammates again. After winning 6 of there 9 games and finishing as runner up in the NIT, North Carolina rumors has began to destroy the team.
Larry's playing skills have imporved. He has earned points for his team, and has came a better player. Larry is known for running his team. and trying to find an open man while garding against players. His foot speed and overall athleticism is an area of concern for larry.
In my opinion i think Larry should stay and play for the North Carolina Tar Heels because he is a good player, and leads his team to wins. He cares about the sport he plays, and doesnt lack and cares about what life has him planned to do in the future. Larry has never wanted to not be a Tar Heel, and that i think is good because he is want of my favortie players. (:
Rumors say that Larry's decision to make is what he wants his girlfriend wants him to do also. She was going to transfer to a different college, and if she was he was going to transfer with him. How cute is that? He is going to follow in his girlfriends footsteps and not do, the dream sport that he wants to exceed throughtout life. Drew said that if he had to make the decision earlier he would have already transferred.
