Tad Boyle is hired to coach Colorado's basketball team? Jeff Bzdelik is leaving the Colorado's team to coach Wake Forest team after coaching three seasons with Colorado's team. Tad is convinced that not a lot of players will join the team, but hopes that the players on the team will stay. Tad is hoping that the Colorado team will give him a chance for coaching them. Boyle plan is to help Colorado's team succeed this season. With them not winning for a couple of years, he said "I can change this".

Boyle goal is to improve Colorado's team by rebuilding there program and by rebuilding the Northern Colorado neighborhood to support the team for the upcoming season. Boyle goal is that the Colorado team has not always been a winning team, but this year he is going to make them have a new school record. The Buffaloes stated that Boyle would not have been there first choice for coach. Players voted for another coach named Steven and if another coach wanted it, then they wouldnt play.

Alec Burks had lobbied for Steve McClain promotion hinting that players would leave if another coach was hired. Boyle said there is alot of anxiety among the players. Boyle's up-tempo style is a stark contrast to that of Bzdelik, who ran a version of the Princeton offense. That could be a selling point to players like Burks, an athletic guard who averaged 17 points last season.

Boyle told player Alec to give him a chance because Boyle said he was a good player, and needed him for the Colorado team's season. Jeff said that the team could reach the NCAA tournament next season if he could get some more taller players. Boyle shares his feelings, and hopes to lure some big man to the campus. Boyle said "Some of the players like what they've heard." His coaching will be for the best, players commented.

Nuggets All-Star and former Colorado standout Chauncey Billups said he hopes Boyle can keep the Buffs together and growing while bringing the same success Boyle enjoyed in Greeley, Colo. "He's done a wonderful job at UNC," said Billups. "He did a remarkable job up there, and hopefully get us back on track again. Boyle has improved and helped a lot.

Each season under Boyle, Northern Colorado gradually improved, with a 25-8 mark last season. Before joining the Bears, Boyle was an assistant coach at Wichita State on the staff of friend and former teammate Mark Turgeon. Boyle played at Kansas with Turgeon, with there head coach Larry Brown. Boyle was captain of the Jayhawks his senior year. Boyle commented ""I'm certainly familiar with this level of basketball. "I like where this program is right now and certainly like where it's heading."

In my opinion i think that Boyle would be a great coach for the Colorado team because he is wanting to improve there team. He is also wanting to show the players that with there old coach leaving and him coming in, that everything thing will be okay with him. He is being a good role model and showing them how basketball is really played. I think that he will be the best coach for the team. (:
